Chef Ellen

Chef Ellen grew up in Sioux Falls and spent many nights around the dinner table with her family. After cooking as a hobby for several years, she moved to Colorado to attend the Auguste Escoffier School for Culinary Arts in Boulder, graduating in 2014. Rooted in Sioux Falls, she moved home shortly after graduation and working in area restaurants before taking a hiatus and starting a family. 

In 2018, Chef Ellen: Personal Chef Services started as an in-home personal chef service focusing on food allergy and specialty diets, and quickly evolved to include meal delivery easily adapted to personal preferences. 

Passionate about sharing her love for food and building a strong local food culture, Chef Ellen enjoys getting involved in area events. She now lives in the home she grew up in with her husband and two children, sharing dinner around the table in the same dining room, making new memories.
